Oct. 7, 2016 – BRYAN, Tx. (KBTX) – Hooters withdrew its application Friday for a liquor license, according to a spokesman for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. A group of local residents submitted a petition Friday with more than 800 signatures to TABC to oppose the company’s application for a liquor license, but it’s not clear if that petition played a role in the decision for Hooters to withdraw its application.
