College binge drinking often results in physical and sexual assaults

With the rise of support started from the “Me too” Campaign, women are now becoming more vocal about their traumas and having their attackers arrested from their drunken assaults. Students lives are being ruined by the choices made will binge drinking, victim and attackers alike. About 696,000 students aged 18-24 are assaulted by another student who has been drinking. Worse over, about 97,000 students between 18-24 are experiencing alcohol-related sexual assaults or date rape. Continue reading

Grand jury: Criminal charges warranted in death of 20-year old Florida State University fraternity pledge

Police encounter Bethesda MD teen at alleged underage drinking party before his death

Montgomery County police say they have body camera video of officers encountering an apparently drunk 17-year old Walt Whitman High School student in the hours before the teen died after attending a suspected underage drinking party. But police did not cite the teen for the suspected underage drinking or take him into custody. Navid Sepehri’s body was later found lying face up in a small stream nearby. The teen had apparently drowned and a bottle of vodka was found in one pocket. Continue reading
